Duties: As Civil Deputy Prosecutor for Cowlitz County and Special Assistant Attorney General for Wahkiakum County for the Child Support Division, duties included representing the State of Washington in parentage actions, child support establishment and enforcement, and modification and adjustment actions. Regular duties included reviewing cases for State action, reviewing Employment Security Department data to determine income, reviewing financial documents and earnings statements to determine rate of pay, hourly wage, employment compensation history, tax and other deduction data, and drafting appropriate child support worksheets based on statutory rules and guidelines for income. Prior duties also included managing public records request from initial request through completion.

Deputy Prosecutor / Deputy Coroner Pacific County Office of the Prosecuting Attorney, South Bend, WA
Duties: As a Criminal Deputy Prosecutor in Pacific County, I was the primary prosecuting attorney for all misdemeanors and gross misdemeanors for Pacific County in all stages of the case from reviewing reports for charging decisions through trial and appeal. I also managed the Juvenile Superior Court criminal caseload and represented the State in juvenile criminal and truancy proceedings as well as mental health court. Other duties included assisting the Chief Civil Deputy with contract review for the health department and appearing on his behalf at civil enforcement hearings. Additionally, I served as Deputy Coroner and conducted death investigations and prepared coroner reports.

I also managed District Court contracted defense attorneys, assigned and tracked cases, and prepared reports for case load standards.
